Pathways is a new Christian community focusing on the sharing and growth of spirit in our lives and in the world around us. It is hosted by and a gift of the United Church of Canada.

Everyone is welcome. Everyone has something to contribute at Pathways. Everyone has something to receive at Pathways. It doesn't matter where you are on your personal faith path.

We believe that by understanding who we are and living in a way that was taught and modeled by Jesus we can enhance and enrich our lives and those around us. We celebrate that there are as many pathways to this understanding as there are individuals on earth.

For those who are seeking... Pathways offers a safe, creative and inspiring space to share and explore with others the possibilities, purpose and peace that comes from exploring not only the teachings of Jesus but other faith and wisdom traditions as well.

For those who already have a firm faith belief, Pathways offers a place to deepen and further understand the source of that belief through thoughtful and intelligent reflections and dialogue. It is a place where one can share practices, history and culture so that everyone at Pathways gains from the positive treasures of each other's beliefs.

For those seeking the opportunity to offer worship and praise to God, Pathways provides regularly scheduled gatherings led by a lively group of talented people including our capable spiritual leader, the Rev. Mary Joseph. Worship experiences present a fresh yet familiar approach to the traditional United Church service as well as contemporary and progressive sacred gatherings designed to celebrate and explore the boundaries of the Christian faith.

For youth, and those with children, Pathways offers engaging, creative programmes designed to help young people develop the principles of fair play, compassion, friendship and respect. They also have an opportunity to participate in a meaningful way in our sacred gatherings so that faith formation is encouraged both through their own interpretation and through further discussions at home.

For those who love music... Pathways offers ongoing invitational 'music of many cultures' concerts, directed by Jason Jestadt, assistant conductor of the acclaimed musical 'Lord of the Rings'. Music is a central and essential part of sharing and bringing Spirit to Life at Pathways.

For those seeking opportunities to add value to the world, Pathways empowers individuals of all faiths and cultures to celebrate the diversity and richness of their community and coordinates meaningful participation in outreach and service programs that enable all people to celebrate their community together and share their gifts of ministry.

For those seeking further learning, Pathways provide opportunities to study, including a wide variety of bible programmes incorporating various understandings of Christian scripture and wisdom texts as well as thought provoking book studies from modern secular writers.
